What to bring to your tax appointment:

·        If it’s your first year with your preparer, bring a copy of last year’s tax return and copies of social security cards

·        Dates of birth for taxpayer, spouse and children

·        Labels, envelopes and forms from taxing authorities

·        W-2 forms, 1099’s and any other statements of income

·        Pension/retirement income

·        Social Security or Unemployment Compensation

·        Child car expenses, educational or work related expenses

·        Self-employed income & expenses

·        College tuition payments (room & board not deductible)
